Kinda like the bees. Question: Why does a post that shows x number of notes in the corner on the dash, or in the post count on the main page, only show x minus a large number actual notes when you scroll down to read them?

Note: Before anyone leaps to accuse me of only being in this because notes make me feel Important and Validated (yes, someone has sent me a message to this effect), don’t be ridiculous. I want to see the notes because I like reading people’s comments when they reblog a word, not because I care about the number. Sometimes people correct my information. Sometimes they tell personal stories about a word. Sometimes they say they’ll name their child after it. Notes are fun to read, so I would kind of like mine back, thank you. Plus, it bothers me when numbers don’t match up.
